produced with selected grapes from vineyards on the upper hills where,
thanks to soil and microclimate, it develops incomparable finesse.
Zone: Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOC in the Veneto’s Treviso province. Grapes: 100% Prosecco. Color: Straw yellow with a minute and persistent perlage. Bouquet: Fruity with rich scents of wildflowers. Flavor: Fruity with pronounced hints of apples and pears; a harmony that is rounded out by appropriate sapidity.
The
alcohol level is 11.5° and the wine is extremely drinkable. Serve it at
9° C. (48° F.) outside meals as an aperitif or as an accompaniment for
light foods. Recommended goblet: Chalice. |
| Spumante Brut The wine’s name, CREDE,
refers to clayey terrains with subsoils of marine sandstone situated in
the hills where the Prosecco, Verdiso and Pinot Bianco vines do not
suffer from drought in critical periods. The grapes develop a notable
wealth of noble acids, aromas and fruitiness. Zone: Conegliano-Valdobbiadene DOC in Treviso province of the Veneto region. Grapes: Prosecco, Pinot Bianco and Verdiso. Color: Brilliant straw yellow with a perlage consisting of a myriad of minute and persistent bubbles. Bouquet: Scents of wildflowers that are appropriately Intense and fresh and an emerging and agreeable note of fruitiness. Flavor:
As in the bouquet, there are fruity hints of apples and pears and
their harmony is completed by a rich and refined sapidity. The
wine has 11.5° of alcohol and is remarkably drinkable. Serve at 9° C.
(48° F.) outside meals, as an aperitif, or with light foods. Recommended goblet: Chalice.

Wine-making techniques:
Grapes are harvested in the second two weeks of October. The must is
settled and then fermented at cool temperatures using selected yeasts.
The wine is aged on its lees in stainless steel but sees no oak.
Tasting notes:
Pale-medium gold reflections with a rich and powerfully aromatic nose
of apricot, apple, peach and citrus fruits. On the palate it is full
bodied, soft and well balanced with excellent acidity. It improves with
age.
Food pairings: It is ideal with hors d'oeuvres, shellfish,
grilled fish dishes, buffalo mozzarella, chicken and cold meat. Serve at
10/12°C. |
| Taurasi D.o.c.g - Fatica Contadina Grape Variety: 100 % Aglianico
Production Area: Our own vineyards in Lapio and Montemiletto Wine-making
techniques: Carefully selected grapes are hand-harvested and then
macerated for 10-12 days. When the alcoholic and malolactic
fermentations are complete, the wine is aged in small French oak barrels
for 18 months. After blending the maturation continues in 35 hl oak
barrels for 12 months and then in bottle for a further 8-12 months.
Tasting notes:
Intense ruby colour with garnet reflections, pronounced and complex
bouquet with hints of cherry, fruits of the forest, spicy scents of
violet and tobacco and a suggestion of minerals. Elegant, smooth,
velvety and intense it displays characteristic hints of plums, black
cherries, black pepper and tar. It is full bodied and austere on the
palate with balanced tannins and acidity. It will continue to age and
develop for more than a decade.
Food pairings: It is an
excellent accompaniment for roast meat, game, spicy dishes, truffles and
mature cheeses such as seasoned provolone, parmigiano or gorgonzola.
Serve at 18° C.
